Orestes Comunica presents the virtual circuit of the exhibition ‘Emotions in danger’, which brings together in Vigo photographs of animals from the project “Emotions in danger” by Tim Flach. We are betting on innovation again. The exhibition can be seen until April 15 in the exhibition hall of the Teatro Afundación in Vigo. The visit is more than recommended. Tim Flach’s animal portraits show “attitudes and emotions that we usually associate with human beings”. This is explained by Afundación, the Social Work of Abanca.
In the exhibition, Flach accompanies the images with information about the situation and the dangers faced by each species. Each portrait is accompanied by an information sheet prepared by the largest environmental organization in the world. The information is from the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

As the Afundación team explains, Tim Flach chose to “portray the animals on neutral backgrounds, highlighting the personality of each species”. In Flach’s images, “animals show in some cases attitudes and emotions that we usually associate with human beings”. Flach says: “I tried to build a bridge and invite equality by creating portraits of animals with a style of representation generally associated with humans to highlight their character and personality.”
