Based on the review of the collections of the Contemporary Cuban Art Collection Luciano Méndez Sánchez, the Soño de Navegante exhibition invites you to take a tour of contemporary Cuban art of the last fifty years; traveling through different themes, styles, supports and authors that have become essential within the Island’s plastic scene.
SELIC. Festival da Lectura is a meeting of authors, publishers and bookstores with their audiences. A festival that was born to demonstrate the power of literature in Compostela and its richness as a city of reading.
It was born with the aim of satisfying the demands and needs of the booksellers and publishers of the Galician capital, and with the challenge of becoming a reference point and a meeting point for the literary public in Compostela.
Emotions in Danger, by Tim Flach, one of the world’s most recognized animal photographers, hosts a selection of 45 portraits of endangered animals photographed as we’ve never seen them before. Flach says that with this project he tries to “connect people with nature” with a goal: to break down the barriers that seem to be raised between human beings and nature through these scenes.
A mostra Acisclo: Sete décadas propón un percorrido por toda a traxectoria artística do escultor galego a través das súas obras máis significativas, unha escolma de setenta pezas procedentes de coleccións galegas públicas e privadas.
Na mostra podemos ver pezas de distintos materiais, nos que o autor encontra novas texturas e diferentes posibilidades expresivas.
